Default Just moved to high elevation, C5 is TOO SLOW!

I just moved to Flagstaff, AZ which is 7000ft. The car has trouble turning over the tires when I roll into it in first! <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />

Anybody have any suggestions, I have a T1 cam, headers, but stock heads. Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharger? What should I do? <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

I live at 6500ft. so i feel ya..... the best thing to cure that is drive back to flat land. Sorry aside froma turbo or supercharger not much will compensate for the lack of air

Wow, seems like yesterday you were installing the T1.

My friend is considering a move to Denver. He drove his Z06 out to Denver and was depressed. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Only reasonable thing to do-- Supercharger or Lingenfelter TT kit!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

No excuses now, you gotta go with forced induction!

Yeah, Denver made my Z06 feel like it had about 150 rwhp...seriously..the computer was all jacked up... I mean I dropped 3000 rpm and got on it in first and actually had traction. I think I could get smoked by a WRX if I stuck around there for a few more days...and we can't have that now can we...

Ran 1 12.43 @ 114.92 stock with a Donaldson at -400 DA here in good ol' Texas! Good to have natural air pressure. Oh, well, at least I have a Turbo Buick for high altitude cruisin when I head for the rockies!

I live in West Texas and here the elev. is around 3200' but the air is thin so corrected air is about 4000' average. Here at our local track stock Vettes run from 13.9-14.5 most run in the 14s. So dont feel to bad.

ATI kit. upgrade to a D1 to move the extra air and you'll have all kinds of bragging rights with the correction factor. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
