Default I need help finding tourque tube components?

The rubber coupling that seats between the propeller shaft and input shaft on one end of my drive shaft was shredded to dust (litterally), the other end looks like it could be replaced as well. I have been searching the web for some replacement parts and possibly some upgrades to the whole thing. I have seen carbon fiber driveshafts for the Vettes but, don't know if they come with the propeller shafts/input shaft/couplings/etc.? I have to get the parts soon because my car is in the shop getting a new clutch installed and I need to get them the parts so they can install something stronger. At the very least I need some new couplings that are better than the factory ones.

Are you speaking of the rubber bellows that covers the CV shaft?

No.... There are 2 rubber grommit like spacers on either end of the driveshaft called couplings that have crumbled away. So the bolts that held them in are hitting eachother...

Are you replacing *both* with aluminum? I'd think you'd want at least one rubber. The couplers aren't available as service parts (the prop shaft is available as a high-speed balanced assembly) so your best bet for stock parts is salvage.

The bushings go due to the flex in the shaft. The Vette Doctors have a upgraded shaft that I ran all last season with great results. I use to break a few torque tubes a season. We kept the rubber bushings.
