ls2 402 in a c5 zo6

will everything transfer over to the ls2 block from the ls6? is anyone running a 402 on here that can give me some info. thanks

so id have to have one built? does anyone sell an aluminum shortblock above 400ci with no core?

I dont see why it wouldnt fit, it should. Its the same block size and uses the same AFR 205/225cc heads or LS6 heads. So techinically it will sit right on there. You shouldnt have any problems using it if you are transfering the block intoo your C5 Z06.

I don't see why it wouldn't dude..as the LS6 intake bolts to the LS2, the magnacharger should be the same.

The 402 LS2 from SLP will work for yor car, just two things,..there is NO knock sensors in the valley, so you would have to have those EDITED out....and the cam position sensor is in the front of the LS2, not in the back like the ls6.

I'm doing an LS2 swap(in a 2000 trans am) with the 402 as soon as the damn motor comes here.

Should be this week,..let you know how it goes.

i just got this from the ls2 section.

They work now!! Race Tronix has a plug and play harness for the knock sensors, and the cam sensor. We just did an install on a C5 but we extended the stock ones.
