quick question
Vette doesn't necessarily make more power. As matter of fact, LS1 Vettes tend to put down less of rwhp compared to LS1 F-Bodys due to more drive train loss. The Vettes have advantage in weight (less) and aerodynamics over F-Bodys.

I had an 2002 Z28 M6 and handed many a SS it's butt. A 02 Z28 and an 02 SS is practically the same car, minus appearance package. The SLP option was exhaust, air lid, and wheels ( I think that's it) and claimed a 325hp or so. The LS1 in a WS6,SS,Formula,Z28,Corvette and I believe a Firehawk is exactly the same, the Corvette just has different manifolds and an electronic TB. GM purpously under rated the F-Body to hype up the Corvette. A Corvette just has less weight and better aerodynamics.

The differences are minor...drive by wire & the oil pan. Internally the same.
