Default Header Choice

Looking to see what everyone else is using. I daily drive my vette so clearance is an issue.

I know a guy who can get me some Jet-Hots' coated with an uncoated H pipe for $652.00 ( he also owese me $50 so the sale price was 702) I also have corsa exhaust...

"I" went with LG motorsports Long tubes. HIghly recommend THEM, and the X-pipe, not an H-pipe.

Personally recommend those, or kooks, maybe stainless works. No experience with any other header on a vette.

LG is the brand i'd highly recommend.

I've got QTP's and have no clearance problems... I went with the high-flow cats and x-pipe rather than the or pipe, and I went from 365 to 378hp. I've been real happy with them, check out their website for info and look at some of the site sponsers, I've seen some great deals on them lately. If you want some clearance pics of my car, let me know, I can take some for you tonight. If I were doing it all over again, I wouldn't go with anyone but QTP or LG's... I've never heard anything bad about either of them... but the QTP's can be had for a better price.

Check out Dynatechs. They are stainless and you can buy the whole system - hi-flow cats included - for around $1200 (if you shop around). The fit/finish is great.

I have LGs. They are the best on the market. Do some research and you will see this widely supported. They are stainless, so no need for coating and come with the X-pipe. Cats are optional. Pricy but worth it. Easy 25 rwhp gain with a tune.

I paid a little less than $1000 for the entire system shipped to my door. It was a pretty good deal IMHO.

pm KJ@SDPC, the only reason I got such a good deal was because they were clearing out inventory.

Here is the website:
