Ran my new C6 to a possible bone stock automatic Corvette world record? Went to Atco Raceway yesterday to baseline my bone stock C6 A6 and came away with what might very well be THE quickest/fastest time ever recorded for a pure bone stock automatic transmissioned Corvette since 1971 (or maybe ever? 
): 12.48@112.11 on a 1.88 sixty foot.

From what I have seen in motor trend, the fastest stock 06 C6 ZO6 time is 12 flat @ either 107 or 111. Of course it was the professional driver mod.

Thats the Z06 though, and the trap speeds were alot more than 107-111. They were over 120. and a 12.0 in a C6 Z06 isn't a driver mod thats an average driver in an above average car. The Z06 has easy 11's in it.
But a 12.48 in a bone stock C6 auto is impressive.

Most magazines never run a car to it's true acceleration potential, these same guys had stock LS1 F-bodies running 13.6s and even 13.8s when the rest of us were getting 12.9s - 13.3s out of them. 
The bone stock C6 Z06 record stands at 11.40@124 right now I think, a far cry from Motor Trend's 12.0.
But again my runs/claims are not about the manual cars, only the automatics.
