what other sites
Goes back to my initial reply months ago.. HAHA...
although he makes a lot of good points, the CF def. has its fair share of "know it alls"
i personally love the corvetteforum because most members share the same interests. some really good people over there, but unfortunately not a lot of knowledge. more of a meeting or gathering place for general talk. ive met and done business with a lot of members over there, and they really are a respectable group.
EG knows his stuff, but is prime example of an "internet god". taking pics step by step of every nut and bolt goes a long way on the vetteforum. but nobody gives a **** over here. motor swaps in C5's have been going on for years now. nothing special.
frankly...i think its good though that we have a variety of websites to browse on, and become members. i agree with the vetteforum being pretty tight about any drag racing, bashing, etc. but thats the way things should be over there.
but ill also tell ya, its def. nice to be able to come over here and actually express your feelings or opinions without getting a thread locked.
For example the know-it-alls on corvetteforum recently informed me that coated mild-steel tubing headers are superior to stainless steel. Apparently LG, KOOKS, American Rcaing etc. don't know **** and really need to pick the brains of the 50+ crowd on corvetteforum.
That being said I frequent corvetteforum most often. But when you have a technical question, post it on z06vette.com too. The FI section on corvetteforum is great however. In fact, the forced induction section on corvette forum is probably my favorite spot on the web. Just avoid that darn tech section.

Thank God for LS1tech!!!!

I'm new to the vette world and I antied up a life time membership $$$ over there.
How I WISH I HAD NOT DONE THAT. I really thought i'd be as good as LS1TECH, but for Corvettes.
