Default 28-TCS codes are ON!

can anyone tell me what these mean or stand for or what needs to be replaced?

28-TCS
C1278
C1282
C1283
C1284
C1285
C1287
C1288
C1296

'04 Z06 with a LS2 403 swapped in, brake lines were completely drained because the abs system was dropped out with the whole front craddle. I didnt do the work someone else did, but these didnt come on until 2 weeks after the install.

any help would be greatful

here is what i have decoded..... any help would be great


DTC *C1278 TCS Temporarily Inhibited By PCM
DTC C1281, *C1283, or C1286 VSES Sensors Uncorrected
DTC C1282 Yaw Rate Sensor Bias Circuit Malfunction
DTC *C1284 or *C1285 Lateral Accelerometer Circuit
DTC *C1287 or *C1288 Steering Position Sensor Circuit
DTC C1292, C1293, or *C1296 Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit

*marks the code that is throwing

could there be some wiring unplugged somewhere? or not being connected properly? i have no idea where to look.

Are they H (history) or current (C)? If they are history you should clear them and see if they pop up again.

i clear the computer and they are current and also H for history i believe. i have a few people telling me its possible the connectors are corroded.

ok well i realign the steering shaft. cleaned all of the grounds and the 2 connectors on the ebcm, cleaned the connector on the master cyl and 2 days after the fact. all of the codes turned off. freaking crazy!

well i have a crazy car and a crazy woman(see backside of avatar) so trust me my life is pretty up and down. Right now the woman is having her time of the month, i just hope the Z06 doesnt decided to be a bitch too. Now, im just trying to save for a new clutch so i can actually get on it!

lol. just hope the vette dont have that time of the month, haha. glad to hear that it worked when u cleaning out the connectors. mine used to throw service ABS and traction due to corrosion!
