clutch issuse
ne way my issue... when you get on the car sometimes especially if you come off the line hard the clutches sticks near the floor and you have to wait a couple seconds and it will return... i dont think the clutch is stock but i cant tell i have to tear this car down over the winter to see whats what...
so what i was wondering is this a hydralic clutch? could it need fluid or just to be bleed(sp) out? or is the slave cylinder going to ****?
I'm a proud vette owner now and i hear that the vette comunity is like no other when it comes to lending a helping hand and some advice so what ever info you all can give me i would be glad to hear it
thanks Ryan

The lines on the hydraulics aren't heat shielded on the C5 like on the F-Body, this also contributes to the failure. If the problem has existed for awhile without any maintenance, your hardware may already be too far gone, in which regularly bleeding and swapping fluids may be your only salvation (may still act up). Some people have had problems in only their M/C or their S/C and replacement of each respectively fixed their problem.
1) Bleed it with good DOT 4 fluid, that's the cheapest easiest thing to do
2) If that has no effect, you can diagnose whether it's a M/C or S/C issue, though the M/C is MUCH easier to replace, and cheaper (I can provide a part source that blows away any GM price).
3) To change out the slave, you have to drop the rear cradle and full drivetrain... NOT FUN. This would be the last thing to do, it's not too costly, but such a pain
