Drove a new Z06 today!!!
A fellow clinician just "rented" a new VY Z06 today, and she stopped by for a test drive. Let me tell ya...HOLY $hit!!!! What a thrill that was. I couldn't really drive it like I wanted to, as it was 4:30 in DFW traffic, so I could only take it up on a few short runs. All I can tell you is that the power in that beast is beyond description! I got one run from about 30-80. Seemed to only take 2-3 seconds, but the pull from that beast planted my back and neck so firmly into the seat, there's no way I could have moved my torso forward away from the back of the seat. Traction is super difficult under 60 too! Simply incredible. And the looks from all those around. Talk about sitting proud for that 5 minutes or so. What an experience that was...Tomorrow she's bringing it by the clinic again, so hopefully I'll get a chance to run her again

That is awesome that you got to drive one. That car is a beast for sure. I would love to get one, but can't afford a car that expensive. How did it feel/ride compared to the C5 Z06? Does it have that race car feel to it???

Damn Doc ! You lucky bastard......I have spent most of my time looking at the rear bumper of those things, and here you are posting about driving one. Lucky lucky.
For the record I am something like 2-9 against the Mighty c6 zo6
Hoping to grab a couple wins after the ported 90/90 and a retune.
Stay in touch Doc T. Keep an eye on your email too. Should have some goodies for ya.

For the record, it did have the "race car" feel to it, but not as much as my C5Z (which was pretty much stock...no H/C) but you could feel a much harder pull from the 100 extra ponies. I'd love to buy one, but I hate to admit it, but I just can't see spending that much $ on a car, when a C5Z can be had at less than 1/2 the cost. Just my 2 cents. What I do love about the new vettes are the factory warranty...hard to beat that, especially when we're out there beating up on 'em.

Both the car and the clinician are very hot. Put the two together...big time "WOW factor!" My first time to drive it, she was in the passenger seat, and I got more than one sqeal...hard to hide the bulge
Worst part about it is that she's single, looking, and very open about her needs...

Funny thing, I told her that I started a thread about her and the Z06, so then curiosity got to her, so she had to read the posts, when she saw this one from Nine Ball, she just started rolling...Who knows, maybe a little action may come out of this... Prolly not though
