Made it into Hot Rod again
Hopefully my new motor will be here in time to start preping for Drag Week

Hey man....congrats on the entry,..thats pretty cool.
Could you give me a litte more information, on your cars setup at that EXACT time? I'm just curious to know if you were spraying, is the car an auto/6 speed.....if you were on the spray ? etc etc.
Been wondering about the 165mph speed achieved in a mile. Also if you have any new numbers since the article.
Thanks.
Jamie

I didn't have a fire system or tranny blanket, so I was teched in the 150mph class with an event kickout of 165mph
I was hard on the brakes going into the timing area. All Maxton runs were on my TSP347, Stage 2.5, MS4 motor only. No new numbers as I'm jumping up to a LME 416, so most of the forged 347 has been disassembled and is being sold. Car is a stock 6spd with built 3.42 differentialAs far as magazine coverage, I just chalk it up to dumb luck and being as honest and helpful a person as possible
