The C6Z06 in the high 50's is a myth...cheapest one I could find was an 2006 for 63K on Ebay
The realiy is that people paid 75-90K for these cars and still owe 60-70 grand on them..LOL..Pretty dumb move IMHO..But you want what you want, and if you ave the dinero then it's your choice..
so we wont be seeing Z06 2006's at 55-59 K or so till next year....

Bingo , I really looked at Vipers but in my area they go for all the money in the world...and I wasn't paying $40k for a early 1st gen Viper...I wish the SRT-10's would drop though because I would be a deal on one of those ....

ACR gets my vote of the two options def.
lol, as far as a supercharged LS7 smoking the new blue devil, what about someone turbo'ing the BD instead of the supercharger it'll get? How about that for smokin' performance hahaha.

If you're a cruiser... get the Viper... buy the latest model you can afford. Go over to the "Viper Alley"... those clowns will tell you how wonderful & rare the Vipers are !!!
Now... if you want to "Track your car"... hold out for a C-6 Z06, especially if you are going to be on a road course.I instruct for "Viper Days" so I've been in & driven all the various Viper models... and the new Z06 is not only faster... it's also much much easier to hustle around the track !!!
Neither, I saw a viper GTS w/ Nitrous get schooled at Byron dragstrip outside of Chicago. A Lexus SC300 with a 2JZ-GTE swap w/ single huge turbo run low 11's, no cage and full leather interior.
