Default just added 8lbs to the Z06...

i know.... im working backwards.... but man does that 8lbs make the car more fun to drive....


i just installed a set of B&B's bullets, (quad tips).
i got a great deal over at WCC. i just wanted to say this kit is nice!
great quality, comes with good instructions.... WELL PACKAGED!!!
fit and finish is top notch! looks VERY nice bolted up to my ARH.
and best of all GREAT sound. VERY deep, muscle car sound....

there is some drone betweem 1500-2000rpm.... but that was with my partion out.... ill put it back in today and see how it sounds....

each side was 4 lbs heavier. 13stock-17B&B.

but it was a nice change....

Clean looking! Seriously doubt you'll notice the 8# difference though

What is the difference in sound at WOT?

WOT isnt much louder that part throttle...

all in all it sounds great..... its alot louder that the Ti's.

I love the way my setup sounds with the B&B's. Big cam, heads and all bolt ons. Sounds wicked at idle, and scary as hell at WOT. Get ready to lose some hearing sensitivity. I know I have. LOL....But not much.

I'm about to create a cat-back system that uses the old-fashioned chambered sticks and a pair of resonators in the h-pipe.

I'm sick of over priced Corvette cat-backs.

Random Technology is going to be building them for me.... true Corvette sound.

I've only talked to the GM there (Random) I still have to take the sticks I've sourced and have them make the two different prototypes.

Once that's done I can get dyno slips and soundclips... then the editor of Corvette Fever magazine (who bought a C5 from us) will recieve a copy for evaluation... and hopefully he'll give me a spot in the new products section.

Tuned resonators in the x-pipe and sticks for half the price of the current systems. The sound will be modeled after the angry big-block side-pipe ('65-'70) with an effort to have no drone. With the more modern LSx based engine (it has a different firing order than gen I/II engines) it should have a very unique and exotic sound.

The current choices are needlessly overpriced!

8# is just a little more then a gallon of 93 octain so I doubt you'll notice any difference at all.

From the title I thought you put a blower on and were running 8psi

They must be pretty thick metal if they are heavier. They look to be lighter with those tiny mufflers.

Ti is much lighter than stainless steel.

sounds very good i have B&B bullets and love them... im worried the sound will change if i install headers cuz i love how they sound now
