Hard to take any of this seriously. This is the third forum in which the same bogus claim has been posted.

John is one of the most "up front" guys your going to find around. When everyone else is claiming big numbers and not giving you 100% of the facts, John does it in the exact conditions and setup as described. I can tell you have never met him because IF you ever did you'd understand what kind of methodical/"exact science" type of person he is.
Some people that I have talked to that have never met him seem to think he is an arrogant 6 speed driver that thinks he is better than everyone else. In real life John is far from it, he is a very detailed person with a drive, greater than most of us could only hope for, to push his Z06's to the limit of the his abilities as well as the cars mechanical abilities.
Now you on the other hand, who ever you are... Claim have 15 years of drag racing experience with no "Street Cred" as the young guys call it. You come out of the woodworks with a flash in the night pass that has not been backed up.
Many of the detail oriented guys document the fine details. Spreadsheets to calculate time differential between splits, record tire pressure to 1/2 lb, suspension setup, and density altitude. These guys know the mechanical limits of the car. If someone were to come on and claim to go .05 faster over the 1/4 it definitely could happen but when your some .18 faster @ the 60' mark alone it definitely will raise suspicion that there is an untold portion of the story.
I'd like to hear your perspective on the run, launch RPMs, clutch technique, shift RPM in each gear, ect from that day.
Correct. 1.50 is the claim, not 1.5s. Cannot happen with a stock clutch even with those mods. In the slip, yours was the car in the right lane, not the left. The splits in the right were generally consistent with a C6Z. Left lane (1.50 4.42) was definitely not a stock clutch C6Z nor one with near stock horsepower.
Bogus.

The record for a full internal mods, HC C6Z with aftermarket clutch is a 1.57 60'.
Again stock power cars with a stock clutch and TM removed via a tune but driven by the best drivers is 1.67 max 60'.
A ten percent improvement by a single car in any incremental is bogus. Imagine a stock car making a 10% improvement in trap speed or ET. It would be hooted. Here we have a 10% faster 60' than the best driven cars. And it's faster than cars with 150 more rwhp and aftermarket clutches. Is that credible? Certainly isn't to most of the experienced Corvette racers.
