I would say the Drive shaft shop, they are relatively new to the vette scene but they have definately proven themselves in the past!

BTW I haven't really heard of too many problems with the stock halfshafts at what power level are the stock ones failing at?

Its pretty common to see them snap in half on modded vettes. Its actually the first thing to go as far as the rear is concerned

The OP was asking about the halfshafts not the output shafts. I'm aware of the problems with broken output shafts( both have been replaced in my car) but never really heard much from the halfshafts. A halfshaft would be the c.v. axle and the output shaft is the shaft coming out of the differential that the halfshaft attaches to!

First pic is an output shaft from Lingenfelter and second is a halfshaft/c.v. axle from The Drive Shaft Shop!

To date, I have not heard of anyone breaking a half shaft. There are numerous 700+ rwhp vettes running with stock ones without a single problem for years.

Hmm, halfshafts? Why? Are you having a problem with yours? What are you planning on running?

At least keep a cheap and easy to repair weak link your driveline somewhere.

Here ya go. This was on 650rwhp at the time. Snapped instantly at the line, just like the output shafts do. Can't wait to see what happens now that it's 900+
