I have a 99 6-speed with a 413 ci. with a 251/257 dur.@600 Lift 114 LSA cam,Stage 3 ported heads w/ 2.08 intake 1.65 exhaust valves, oz700 clutch, LS6 MAF, LS2 ported intake, LS2 ported 90mm TB, 42# inj., SLP long tubes, X-pipe and borla cat-back. I just dyno tuned the car today. The problem im having is a low RPM surge around 2600 rpm and lower, in all gears. The problem was present before the tune and is still there, the tuner did all he could to fix the problem with no luck. Could it be something other then cam surge? After 2600 rpm the car is a beast and runs great. Any help would be great.
Plus the car has a really hard time starting up. It threw up a cam position sensor code. any ideas? And were is it located?

A dynojet. I thought it would make more power too. But I just bought the car from a member on the corvette forum. So im working with someone elses problem. If i can get the bucking to stop around 1900-2000 rpm i will be happy. I know it will never run like stock, but i didnt think it was that big a cam either. It may have something to do with the LS6 MAF so im going to swap it with a stock one and see what happens.

That cam really isn't that big especially with a 114 lsa. My guess would be the tune.
p.s. those numbers seem REALLY low, especially if you heads flow as good as your fquick site says.

I got a hold of guy in the area that does just LSx Tunes. He is going to see what is going on with it on Friday. So with all luck the problems will be gone this weekend.
I checked the wires today and two were F***** but the problem is still there.

Are you still getting the SES code? Maybe you have a mechanical issue. 443 HP from a 413 with a big cam is horrible and the fact you have bucking up at 2600 sounds like something is off more than just the VE table. Maybe a crank sensor relearn or something more extensive is needed.

We made a pull to 6500 and it fell off at 6300. So im going to replace the O2s and the cam sensor and see what that does for me. Plus it is getting dataloged on friday, so i will have a better idea of what is going on.

Ya, I would guesstimate that you should make atleast 500rwhp when all is said and done.
