Default Traction Control madness C6

Is there anything else that can be done to remove the traction and handling control off?

Long Story:

Back in 2005 i bought a coupe 4AT, installed mods bla bla bla, pushed the button for 5 secs and it ripped hard, sold it.

2007, a friend buys a black convertible 6AT, and i buy a 6 speed manual Z06.

The black convertible is modded and traction control deactivation with the 5 second push STILL WORKS like 1st time, he still has it.
The z06 works a few times, and 1 day at the track it does not want to work, just shuts TCS but not AH, i loose grip on the top of 3rd, car tries to AH = crash at the track, fixed it, sold it.

2008, i buy a red convertible (2005 4AT) obviously used, tractionc ontrol 5 second push is not working, you push it, it says its deactivated but you punch it hard and you can feel the car braking.

Few months later i buy again the white coupe first listed, its doing the same ****.

WTF!!!!!!!!!

i have tried the 2 times within 5 secs pushing and nothing.. is there a way to remove it at all?

If it's like the f-bod, you may actually be able to take out the fuse itself. I'm not sure if it's connected to anything on the same fuse though???

On my old Z28 the traction control and ABS were on the same fuse, but when the fuse was gone it did what I wanted.

Just a random thought.

Sounds like you are experiencing TM (Torque Management). It can be tuned out with EFILive or HPTuners. Simple fix and then HANG ON!

Buy a C5, press the button and BAM!

Seriously, you need to get it tuned out.

People know me by Temblo but I've been around and I know a few people... reason I'm saying is when I was down there last year I raced him and he had 2 vettes a black one and white one had a turbo they were quik but I beat him , he was probably sand bagging though.

Question

Were/are these car all stock and still have their tire pressure monitors (TPMS) in the wheels?
I ask because if the TPMS are removed/disabled it can cause the TC/AH to do some funky things.
