Dont know bouth the cars limit...but I found mine!lol Texas Autobahn As if I wasnt sold on Vettes anyway, after today I CERTAINLY am!
I was on a long lonely strech of road today and decided to opener up.
I hit 169 and it was still climbing! Dont know how much she had left, but not much, judging by the tach(6K RPM).I was amazed! Ive had Fbodys up to 159-161(the gov. is debatable on these cars it seems) and they were a handful. This car just glided! It wasnt even really a 'rush'...it was so smooth and controllable. I had no idea. Anyhow i just wanted to, I guess, share my excitement.
Now I want a C6!

158 with nitrous coming back into town!! then I had to slow it down cuz the troopers are loaded over here. but i finished at 5800rpms and still had til 6500 til i would have called it quits!!! But nice numbers^^!

Buried the speedo. Not sure, but the cop that stopped me 10 mins later said I was doing 203. Tires on the back were Michelin PS2 295 35r18s. Felt very stable considering she's lowered. Before loweing on stock bolts she started to feel a little iffy at 185 and up.
Would've loved to have gotten pics of the faces of the riders on the gsxr 1100's that I blew past. I think they top out at 186. I am sure they were in disbelief. This was done at 130 am and nothing but me, my buddy, and those two bikes on the road, oh yeah and the cop that decided to chase me outside his jurisdiction. NO ticket though.
