pretty much that hoss.

a pro mod guy saw my ngk TR6's and almost slapped me in the head with them "ARE YOU CRAZY,....YOU DON'T USE A PLUG LIKE THIS!!!" damm dude, my bad. lol. He's 100% correct. The TR6 is too hot of a plug for my setup,...so I have been waiting on some super duper end all be all plugs to come in, hopefully sometime tomorrow. I think onebadcad might be picking me up a set.

Once thats installed,..i'll run the car again and see how it rides,...if it's a clean run, i'll set up the car for dyno time. kinda broke at the moment so, we'll see how everything works out over this week. Good news is I am doing a side job this weekend most likley, should put some dow in the pocket, and probably right back out again(bills)...lol.

Either way,...very soon indeed. If I get the plugs tomorrow, i'll have them in by the evening time.

Keep you gents posted.

Any info on the super secret double throw down plugs?
Are they made of some space age material that landed here on a comet?
If onebad likes them, they must be the shizzle....

just autolite race plugs. heat range 9 would be AR94. Gonna runs with thows, and also gonna try a heat range 8. I have part number at work, and will probably show up tomorrow.

I did some researching, for ngk's as well, heat ranges 7-9. I thik badcad is bringing some heat range 8 ngk's. possibly some range 7's.

regardless,...i'm running8-9's.

I'm serious about him getting pissed about the plugs.

I believe it.
He seems like a pretty Hardcore dude.
He was also serious when he made your cousin ask me if he could bring the Pro-Mod over to run on the dyno....that would be a sight.
Dont think we can hold 2500+ at the wheels though, might break something!

I'll be curious to see if you have any low speed or idle issues with a plug that cold, may need to stick with a 7 for now till the wick gets turned up...

Yeah, he said that(dyno). I have never blocked my ears on a dyno but, that'd be the day i'd start. Still gotta love his testing in front of there shop. wicked wild wheel stands or crazy burnouts. Cool dude.

We'll see what happens with my car. i don't want to run a 9,..8 is what I really wanna run, and see what happens.

I used TR8's on my car and they work good and had no problems. Other than 23 psi and head lifting hahha.

23 PSI?
Was that a little overboost, or were you really trying to run that?
I wouldn't imagine the heads holding that for very long...lol.

Well I was planning on it eventually but everytime I got the tune better and better it would boost harder and higher. The wastegates were not sized for over 1000 hp. They became too small. So when it would boost I would tune and eventually it would consistantly make over 20psi and up to 23 psi over probably 100 times. I only had head lifting problems when It would pop or have a problem. I have taken the engine apart and there was zero damage and all that was needed were new head gaskets. My engine had very expected wear from and power and milage that I had beaten on it so much that I was very suprised it was not worse.
