Question for myself. PIC'S******
.. But this one,....wears war paint.
I picked up some -An fittings and tapped my valve covers, and added to catch cans with breathers for each bank. I did this, and added some heat tape to the missing side parts of my hood.
Pictures are from my gas *** phone but, you get the idea. Haven't ran all lines yet.
I gotta tell you, I started the car,....and wow, it starts ALOT easier then before,...alot. It seems to idle better,...like theres less friction going on. Revs are snappier,...and more crisp.
Digging it. Didn't go for a ride yet but,...looking forward to it.
.. But this one,....wears war paint.
I plan on keeping mine forever too and buying a C6 for an every day driver in a couple of years, once I get this project up and running.
I just can't cut my baby up after spending all this time doing the custom body work and conversion from coupe to hardtop.

Sent ya PM with tracking info. Let me know what you think of them after you get them on.
My car is progressing along nicely. Just some headlights and some changes in the accents and a few item to put the finishing touches on.

thanks G.
Just so you know, when the two colors are side by side, the speedway white car looks VERY yellow, when parked next to the artic white car. Mine is much more like pure cocaine. My buddies speedway white car, looks like a little bit of urine,..mixed with a little bit of white(lol...my friend at work and on this here board, has a speedway white Z06,...and I bust his ***** daily).
My dealership boys, call it the spermway white, Z06.
heres NOT a great pic of the two, a while back.... mine is on the right...

**** pick. I'm looking for the one in the daytime,..side by side but I can't find them. Maybe my gay friend has them somewhere saved.

The reason I mentioned a Speedway White Z is because Ive always wanted a C5 Z (really any color, but its hard to beat a black or white vette). It also seems easier to find a white Z than a white FRC, if you can call 'finding a white Z06' easy

Well, my gay friend at work, is back with his X so, it'll be a matter of time before she cuts his ***** off(again)...and makes him sell it.
So, lol, keep searching.
1)still have a turbo smoke issue,..which I will try and resolve by lowering my ebcm even more, putting on a -10 instead of the -8 fitting, and try that. I already run a -10 line(with a -8 fitting),...doesn't help.
2)Tony, aka BlownVette 2001(big thanks to him,....very cool cat) hooked me up with a set of solid and poly motor mounts and tranny mount recently. It wasn't too bad to install,...and although I do feel it's a little more responsive, it's be no means harsh, or too much to bare for a street car.
My camshaft has already made the car "wobble" at idle(shake)...and it honestly doesn't seem to have changed one bit. Seems almost the same. SO, for anyone that was like me, and questioned these mounts,....don't sweat it,...it won't make the car vibrate to death.
Video coming soon...

Look'n forward to the video.
Have you tried installing some restrictor in the turbo oil lines or reduce the line size feed in ?
BTW, what kind of insulation are you running to keep the heat down off the hood ?
I may be coming across a deal to get a PTK knock off really cheap

Man,..i've tried alot of different things with the turbo. Believe me, I have tried. Recently, at the PRI show, I had a chance to talk directly with Precision Turbo,.....in soo many words, they said to NEVER RESTRICT the turbo, oilwise. I felt kinda stupid,...to be honest. I mean, I have been told numerous times, on the net, that people do this all the time, and it's the fix. Well, they advised me against doing that, and advised me to look into larger lines, and or a return pump,.....which, for 120 bucks,....i'm leaning towards that.
As far as heat insulation goes, I have some new additions to my hood,...I finished wrapping/installing the wrap/adhesive stuff. It works great, since at first, my hood was turning yellow from the heat. Now, with all the wrap, it's awesome. I'll get the name of it. Race parts solutions is who I got it from,...very cool people
I'll post some recent pics when I get home.
