Default 1st time at 1/4 last night

Finally put the car on the track last night; Ive always wanted to but usually chicken out. Was kinda dissapointed in myself not the car. Lined up with a chevy astro van so it wasn't a matter of winning. Get to the line and the guy keeps telling me to back up then pull up so Im looking at him and not the tree and its was already going. Reaction time and 60' was terrible the van did better.
99 TA m6 Astro Van
R/t .814 .470
60' 2.281 2.117
1/8 9.527 10.708
mph 79.08 63.24
1/4 14.444
mph 101.38

I wanted to take off from 2500 rpm and ride the clutch out but ended up leaving from idle. I think had I been paying attention and got a better reaction time I couldve pulled of the 13 sec pass i was hoping for oh well theres always next week. But dam I sure had fun and the car sounded great ripping through the gears.

Yeah there was a space in between when I typed it but the space was gone when posted so Its all crunched together
LS1 M6 astro van would be hilarious though.

Yeah and if I was paying attention; racing in the left lane sucks anyways

your reaction time has nothing to do with final e/t...your trap is good for 13s...

I agree with 5 02ls1, your 60 foot time is the most important thing. You should be at 13.6-13.9 with that trap!

Better 60ft and shifting should put you in the 13.7-13.8 if not better

I feel you, MIR is such a hike though. But I understand, I'm 15 minutes from Capitol, I just get there when it opens.
