Not a chance in hell you can run that with those mods. Sounds like a timing error to me.

I agree, timing malfunction is the likely culprit here.

Easy solution: run it again and see what times you get.

sorry dude if the car is (stock) and you ran a 12.7 @ 109 there's NO WAY your dropping .5 on stock tires and gaining the mph ! this reminds me of ROBZ thread lol.... congrats on the 12.7 but i say run 3-4 more times and back it up.

You know if you can't back up your time and mph within 1% it doesn't count as a new PB right?

My CETA with a air lid only ran a 13.1 at MIR, and a 12.8 with a 3000 stall and air lid only.

And those times are believable for the mods. My 2000 ran 13.46 @ 104 bone stock in August of 2003. It's an A4 car and had crappy 2.73 gears. So to me, it's completely feasible that an 01'-02' car with a lid in good air can run .3 -.4 faster.

12.2 just seems a bit too much to swallow IMO.

Default thought of somehting

I had a 98 z28 that was one of the "freak cars" it was consistently faster than most all other ls1 f-bodies, however it NEVER ran 12's, and it never ran that high 122 mile per hour. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesnt the stock speedo hit the rev limiter at like 115 mph?! how (with a stock car) could ya run 122 mph?
