Fastest Stock G8 GT??? Got to the track today with and got my first taste of LEGAL drag racing...man its alot more fun when you cant get a speeding ticket. Now to the times.
First Pass
13.379 @ 103.8...2.043 60' in Normal Drive Mode
Lifted up towards the end cause i notice my ****** sun roof was tilted open (ooops)
Second Pass
13.278 @ 105.5...2.019 60' in Normal Drive Mode
Cool down
Third Pass
13.216 @ 106.2...2.007 60' in Sport Drive Mode (auto shifted it to 4th right before traps)
Fourth Pass
13.150 @ 105.9...1.982 60' in Sport Drive Mode (Manual shift to hold 3rd)
So we decided to go for a 12 second pass. Started ripping out floor mats, trunk mat, all the **** from my center console and dash, oh and put Max from Cartek behind the wheel. 160 Lbs lighter than yours truly. After a nice cool down i gave him the keys, discussed a few techniques for launching the G8 and let him go.

13.107 @ 107.3...2.025 60' in Sport Drive Mode (Holding 3rd) (Best MPH)
Got the kinks worked out for the hot lap
Second Pass
13.02 @ 106.8...1.950 60' Here I come 12s...was NOT expecting to see a 13.0x run but it was ****** great.
Other Notable Runs
13.046 @ 107.1...1.942 60'
13.097 @ 106.6...1.932 60' (Best 60')
After a few more runs pushing the G8 to the limit I decided to call it a day. Headwinds were picking up and we couldn't get below 13.00. I swear every time he staged after the 13.02 the wind started gusting straight in our faces. Thanks to all that helped me not look like too much of an idiot and Special Thanks to Max for not breaking my car. I'll be in the 12s before the season's over i promise folks. Next time i go to the track i wont forget to NOT fill the car up to the ****** brim (got a phone call while at the pump and just blanked). ALL RUNS WERE MADE ON 3/4 TANK OF GAS

tune == stock engine components that's all i meant with the stock comment, no its not straight from the factory but the reason we tune cars is because the computer shoulda been programmed like that from the start.
i'll be in the 12s with just the tune. the extra gas was the only thing holding it back. we gave it proper cool downs and never hot lapped more than one run at a time.
