i dont wanna be "that guy" but doesnt 121 mph seem a bit high for a stock internal LS1 car with 342s?

between the low et, the so-so 60' and the raceweight, things dont add up

anybody else feel the same way? i was just looking at the list and it seemed to raise a redflag. almost seems like it had a stealth cam in it or something.
With that 3200lb race weight, a great tune, and great driver I dont think it's impossible. While it may be hard to believe, I'm sure most of the times on this list are very hard to believe for those not on it

I would say I agree with you Ron... I really can't imagine a bolt-on LS1 car running that sort of MPH while lugging around 3200lbs...

Also, has anyone considered breaking down the Vette list to LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6/LS7 or at the very least C5/C6? Doesn't seem to make much sense to compare LS1s to LS7s does it?

Whoa calm down there big guy ... I wasn't referring to you specifically when I said it's hard for people to believe. I didnt say anything about your car and really dont care if your on the list or not, much less what place you'll be in ... I too have made some changes since that pass, and am just now getting my car back on the track. btw that pass was on stock springs and shocks and stock 17's

A 1.505 with a stock car is nothing short of unbelievable.

who said i wasnt calm? u just took it out of context. im still on stock springs, and i was on my stock torque arm. My 60' could use some improvement. Since then, I too have made some changes. we can go back and forth all day, but id rather spend my time finding ways to make my car faster without touching the motor.

when i get on the list, i will have timeslips, video, pics, whatever is necessary. i know i wont be trapping 121mph S.I. though

Smart *** comments just get to me. My first post was not directed towards you at all and I didn't intend to come off as an ***, I apologize if you took it that way. Either way, there's no need to argue with each other in this thread so lets end it now. Best of luck to you getting on the list this year.

That's one option I suppose (much like it's done over on Corvette Forum ) but it might be a real hassle to constantly maintain all of that on top of the main vehicle focus over here which is still the 4th gen LS1 F-bodies.

Been saying that for a few yrs not apples to apples. Like a 3000 pound car to a 3500 pound car.

I've got a better idea. How about I just remove all the 'Vettes from this list and you can start your own list in the Corvette section

Since I've personally seen a ~3200lbs SI automatic run near 119 mph, 121 for a M6 isn't a stretch at all.
