New best in my 'barely bolt ons' C6 LS2
After hitting the 11s (best of 11.83) in my Corvette for the first time three weeks ago and then lowering it to an 11.78 last week, I went back to the track for the last time in 2008 and improved a little further on those numbers. The air was very good and while studying my slips over the last few weeks I came up with a few minor new strategies to try out. I'm still learning more and more about this car and things just came together on a few of the passes yesterday.
Mods are:
Vararam Snake Charmer CAI
160* thermostat
Cartek tuning
drag radials/skinnies
New best of 11.70@120.79mph
Hit 1.78 sixty foots on two of the passes and hit 94.13mph in the 1/8th on another.
I love this car.
Here are the three best slips from yesterday (car# 364):

I went there with only the goal and hopes of running an 11.75 so when I got that shocking 11.70 slip I was like
I then got greedy and went back around for some more but came up short with the 11.71 and realized that I was just too far away for an 11.6 of any sort.
The track was starting to go away and I probably should've lowered my rear tires down a little more and maybe I could've squeezed out an 11.6999 but not likely.
