Default Udate on my mom's Lightining

For those of you who remember the tread about my mom's 04 Lightining. We finally got enought milage to take it to the track, We took it to Milan, MI FME had it rented and the weather was perfect. 55 degrees, low humidty, no real wind. Everything is still stock but we were running 28" ET Streets. She made 5 runs I had 2 turns and my dad it took for a ride once too.
her first run was a 15.29 but we were told we couldn't go faster than 14.5 with 2 people in the truck, so I told my mom to hit the brakes at the end of the run but I quess I told her to soon.
Her best run of the night was next.
13.73 @ 100.2 with a 2.2 60'
my best run of the night
13.80 @ 98.00 2.008-60'
and my dad hit a 13.74 @ 99.xx
I also thought about the weight difference between my mother and me I weight about twice as much as her so with my driving and her weight the truck would of hit 13.6 which is what I wanted to see stock
So anyway, I know it can go a little quicker once it gets broken in more but the mods start in 2 weeks after we have 1000 miles on the OD
sorry so long

Awesome times for something that weighs in at over 4500 lbs. and has the aerodynamics of a brick!

I'm surprised by those times Rok. I thought for sure stock L's were in the 13.3-13.5 @ 105mph range. I guess not. I've only seen a few run so I'm no expert.

It's time to mod that blower!

Not too surprising. Raced a bone stock Lightning before, he ran a 13.5 @ 100 with a really good launch (stock tires). Like a 1.8x 60'.

Those 28" ET streets are killing your mph (without giving you much of a return in the 60ft dept). You should've had no problem cutting 1.8's with those tires. I'm betting that on the Stock F1's you can turn identical or potentially better 60fts (with practice) and manage to pick up 2-3 mph. 13.5's at 102-3 would be a nice solid time for a stock 04' L.

Now the question is how long will Mom have it before she gets a ticket!
