Default To the Track with TH-350 SETUP

Well i got out the the track again Friday night after blowing up 2nd gear last week. I blew up the sprag and various other parts due to my burnout procedure i was told.
Well this week after burning out in all three gears the car stuck nicely and ran consistant 7.38-7.40 times shifting a bit early at 94.16MPH Still getting used to my new Turbo Action shifter and adjusting shift points. That is what i wanted, the car to run consistently this year.

thats not the best way to treat a th350.
1-2 shift while spinning is what kills them the quickest.
start in 2nd if you have to, and shift to third. only apply power in third.
roll the tires over one time in the water. this helps greatly and reduces the stress on the tranny.

Yes i learned the hard way. I'VE got it back on the track again and go right from 1 to two quickly then to 3rd on the power. It seemed to work good so far. 1.66 short with stock suspension accept LCA's are CM UMI'S.

stay away from the 1-2 shift.
start the burnout in 2nd, or 3rd if you can, or you will end up tearing it up over time.

I will do that this weekend 2-3rd, if it does not get rained out again. This has been a terrible month for weather so far. Rained out last week and looking like rain again this week.
