Nice times, I was just happy to get a 1.9 short time on my well worn BFG KDW's last week.

I don't mean to bring this back from the dead, but since the arguing on page 1 and 2 it got me wondering. Back when my car was a 4l60e car, if I put it in 2nd gear at a stop light, it would take off in second, is that not normal with a stock 4l60e?

Ha I've always told people my Riken's were grippy for street tires....I consistently get 1.90s on a crappy track and mostly stock.

Cool video, Aaron. Also, I will vouch for Brad's car. If you have to see it to believe it, come out to Gateway.

Well, this is not always the case. SHift kits can claim this but I have never seen it work under WOT. Also, if your leaving in 2nd gear you have to have a LOT of power to pull a 1.59 in 2nd gear launch!!!

Also, the timing lights could have been messed up, I had a slip that show a 1.05 short time on a 10 second run, obviously that was not valid.

Try it again at a few more tracks or the same track again and see. Either way, your car is fast!

This one time I got a 1.2 60' with my bolt on car. Hey it said it right on the time slip so I guess I could claim that I was running 1.2 60' times with bolt ons...

I rebuild my own transmissions, I think I know when it leaves in 2nd, and when i leave in first you also know it...ie shift in to second..

I to have had a timer flaw, 1.1 60' LOL

That day I ran a few different runs of 1.70 rolling into the throttle, didn't spin, then I hit it a little harder, 1.64 60' on streets didn't spin, so I figured my last run I would floor it (in 2nd) to see what happened....1.590, I run alot of 1.50-1.55 leaving in first on mt's so I know what a 1.59xx feels like, I also have over a hundred Timeslipes.

I guess I need to get that video posted for the nay sayers.

It seems to me like when someone elses car can't do it, then my car can't do it.....
