went to the track a few weeks ago and ran some decent times.

ON 245 50-16 riken raptor all season tires the car pulled a 1.590 60' and ran a 11.17 @ 122mph. all other passes were in the 11.2-11.4 range with my last pass being 15.8 LOL from tire spin and tranny issues.

I launched in second gear with 3.73 and a 3600 stall every time. I think the car hooks from my suspension setup because all other cars i raced had M/T et streets and i was out 60' footing them.

I have a vid but its on a dvd and my computer will not copy it, maybe ill try my friends computer soon.

Wow, I just went to the track and my 235 street tires were barely able to pull off a 2.03 60'.

I had a '91 that pulled a couple of 1.6x 60' times on GY Aquatred IIs. The track was perfect and the motor broke 400RWTq at 1800 RPM. On my '02 SS the best I could do on the stock tires was a 2.02.

^^ If you put the selector in second doesn't this allow 1st and 2nd gear?

If the car actually launched in 2nd I doubt it could pull off that 60'

very impressive, but starting in second would be like a powerglide in first, which most people need like a 200 shot and globs of power to even cut a 1.49

with the transgo shift kit you can start in 2nd, I know the 60' is hard to beleive but that is what it did, the only shift was into third at about 78mph

Oh second gear. If I put mine in second it goes like a snail. How do you launch from second? Don't see how that is possible
