true but theyre about 40-50 miles apart.. temperatures can vary by 10 or so degrees around phoenix, but not enough to make a car with more mods run a second slower than a near stock car. somethings fishy with the OP's car.
firebirds DA at around 4pm oct 10th:3360
Speedworlds DA around 4pm oct 10th:4578
my friend ran around 10 pm with the DA was 2885 at speedworld.. granted its alot better than 3360, but depending on when the OP ran id assume they were withing 500 feet of eachother.

The DA is pretty high at my track and I ran a 14.0 stock at 101-103 I was trapping with a 2.3 60ft best. After headers and exhaust I still ran a 14.0 but trapped around 106-109 this time. Something seems off, if your 60ft sucked or your trap was higher it would seem normal but idk

Something to think about, I still have a hard time blaming the tune. A car with a stock tune should still trap as high or higher than me. When we put the factory tune back in it dropped 3-5 mph, which tells me its doing something.
I need to see if I can get it data logged, and see exactly whats going on.

Well I got done putting an intake gasket and an alternator on the buick, and decided to screw around with the Camaro.
My brother said I should try pulling the MAF connector and seeing how it acted. Pulled it and wow, what a difference. It went from laying 3-5 ft of rubber in first to pretty much all of first gear.
I would assume I need a MAF

try just cleaning it first. a can of MAF cleaner is only $5 and may save you from having to buy a whole new one.
