Edit: The official list states it as such, "All times must be on stock heads, crank, rods and pistons." and since we are racers, we all go by the fact that if its not explicitly stated, its legal, thus all bolt-ons and drivetrain upgrades are allowed. If your not doing what they say not to do then your within the parameters. The end.

so another words a nice turbo would be acceptable as it is a bolt on and tune, to go with the cam only bla bla.. or you can put every bolt on known to man on the engine with the acceptions of pulling the heads..but so long as you didnt touch the inside of the heads down to the crank its alll good right? JMO

back to the topic..bad *** times, killer 60 and i love the car..damn fine job of engineering the right parts together instead of raiding the fs section of everyting with a cool name

or wait my bad..maby i dont have a place to say anything since i am not runnin ten's...hate to **** somebody off on here..nut huggers and haters alike..

Dude give it up.

Chris, thought i'd see you go for the cam only record one more season.Heck i'm giving it another shot. I just read a few pages back, theres always guys who hate on the cam only deal. Recently a member was angry that my cam only car out ran him and the best he could think of is that he "out 60'd my car all day" which was a false Best of luck with the H/C setup

yeah I thought about it...getting a trex size cam and dropping more weight but I got a smokin deal on the trickflows and couldn't pass them up...then they were staring at me so I had to put them on haha

Yea I hear ya, can't go wrong with trickflows man. I'll have an LSX block staring me in the face haha. Are you going with a bigger cam though?

I think its attainable some people are getting 15-30rwhp from just fast intakes he's putting heads on that flow alot better, a well matched cam, and more compression so I think his goal is realistic.

like 1999blue stated...yes I think it is possible...I have seen people gain 40+ just from stock trickflows...I have them milled pretty good plus a bump in cam by 9/13 degrees...I have also optimized my fast 92 with portmatching and exta attention to detail some parts needed some epoxy...also half shafted my 92mm Tb...and optimized my headers at the primaries and collectors by opening the inlets up to match the d shape of the heads better and cleaned up all the extra weld in the collectors that was restrictive...each primary had probably 10% blockage from splatter/over weld...also I am going to a new custom y pipe that will incorporate a flowmaster merge...

so yes 40-50rwhp I hope shouldn't be a problem...I am hoping for more but not expecting it...

Why not run bullets off the collector instead of a Y?

I agree with it not working with bullets, but a super 44 off both collectors, might do it. They're not that heavy and can be had with offset inlets and outlets and whatnot, I have a set on my setup and it doesn't hurt it at all.

Be worth looking into.

Got any sound clips?

I want to do this or something similar just because my Y pipe is junk and need a cheap option to fix it.

I know this video doesn't do any good really, but you can sort of hear teh car when jerflash isn't yelling LOL.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHgOn9_jsnA

Please remember this is a 13.5 to 1 402 that's huffing some nitrous running thru that, with a stock CI and lower compression motor it would be a good bit quieter.

Other car I ran that run is a GN, so it's certainly not making much in the noise department.
