First Runs in the car
well i ran the car for the first time tonight and i need tires bad because its spining now with just a lid and cat back. i wanted to get some base runs before the converter and hd-2 install so it ran 8.83 @ 82.4 and 60's were 2.1 in the 1/8
The Yank SS3600 impressed the **** out of me.I used to tell a bunch of guys i hung around w/ i could run 12's w/ a bolt-on car and a converter and now i tell them how wrong i was and should have told them 11's.It will be the best move u make w/ your car.
if you get a good stall it will drive almost like stock! Then when you punch it its a whole new animal!!!! there are alot of sponsors on here who sell damn good stalls! Get a 3600+++ stall, if you go smaller you will regret it!
If u spend the money on a good one the dont even notice the difference until u punch it.Yank,FTI,Vigilante are a good choice.
im wondering how the converter is going to do with the 2.73 gears, i guess it would be fine but ive been told the gears affect the converter somhow

A converter stalls with a combination of power put in, and resistance against what it is putting out. More power the higher a converter will stall to, the heavier or "seemingly" heavier the car is the higher it will stall. Therefore gears make the car feel lighter or heavier and change the stall rpm slightly.
