Yeah, work got in the way again. 60 hours a week is getting old. I'll be in the garage wrenching on it tonight after 7ish. There is no way I'm staying in the office past 5.

You do realize your times are "quicker" because the track runs downhill, don't you?

Which track runs down hill? Byron? Good thing I ran better at GLD.

Yep, and I'm not trying to rain on your parade, DV, but the track does run downhill.

Many many years ago, in a conversation that I had with Don Garlits, I asked him if he had ever run there, and he told me he had.

I then said to him, "Am I crazy", and before I could say anything else, he said "The track runs downhill!"

So I knew I wasn't crazy!

Btw, nice car!

I think you are crazy. But to each their own.

Not deceiving to the worlds greatest drag racer, but you (and 4bangermustang) are entitled to your opinion, wrong as they may be.

It runs down hill only slightly, but the shutdown is up hill quite a bit more.Thats why it appears to be down hill a lot.Now Rising Sun Maryland is down hill 15 ft and it is still NHRA sanctioned.

Thanks for the compliment. Doesn't much matter to me, uphill, downhill, sideways, it was just close for the first round of testing. As I said, I went faster at GLD, a full tenth actually. Ron and BJ still run an A+ operation out there at Byron. I'll still support them when I can, they've always been great no matter what. If it's good enough for Spiro Pappas to test his ADRL #1 3.9x@nearly 200mph car, it's good enough for my crawling junk.

Not much to update. Had family stuff this weekend. Went to WIR and GLD the weekend before to try to get the injectors dialed in. They are way out. Went 13.20@103 at WIR, which is WAY off the pace. Got it back to a 12.55@108 at GLD on that Sunday. My nitrous solenoid is leaking like crazy. I thought it was sealed after pasting it and letting it cure overnight, but it blew on a pass at WIR. I think I went like a 12.1@113 spraying it a little in 2nd and at the top of 3rd. I haven't even had time to reseal that since we are refinishing the garage. Now I'm on mandatory OT until further notice.
