Default *Street/Strip WS6, 402 TFS215s F.A.S.T 92

First off i would like to thank the crew at Vengeance Racing for the proven setup and G-Force Motorsports for the tuning and great service! Both shops are amazing!

This is my dads ride so im posting some pics and info for him, he bought this car in 02 and has 45,000 miles on the car, very clean!

402 LS2
TFS 215s milled for 11.1 compression/93 octane
F.A.S.T 92 with Nick Williams 92mm TB
VRX5 camshaft
Moser 12bolt 4.10s
TH350 w/ ATI 5200 stall
485rwhp/450rwtq

We ran our best time yesterday at the Texas Motorplex but had a slight headwind against us.

Best pass of the day leaving off of idle:
1.46 60ft--10.69@125 mph--raceweight was 3,530lbs!

great looking car and very nice results for a street car

I still see more in the combo and would tweak this before swapping motors and heads.

FTP lid
SD tune or 85MM MAF
drop some weight
converter swap

Thanks Larry, i would like to see some more weight off of the nose for sure, what size stall would be more adequate? This will stay a naturally aspirated setup

I would say with some track info and a tweak on the converter it could surely 60ft better and go faster. The car should 60ft better for an all motor setup IMO even at the heavier race weight.

Dave at Yank and there are others which make good converters

I'd say you just need a trans brake.

We have on one the car, have tried it several times but it blows the tires off even on a well prepped starting line, we will be putting a 2-step on it very soon then see how it does

Same converter I have. I would say yank the A/C and some other things, a car with drag brakes and aluma stars can't really need it.

I was not saying the converter is bad, but might need some tweaking. The TB and note of blowing the tires off surely leaves some 60ft and ET on the table.

have you check to see where the converter flash to and shift extension?

I have made a couple passes in the car but never paid attention to the converter flash, car makes peak power around 6400rpm. I was suprised that ATI chose to build the converter that loose, i was thinking around 4500 tops but im no converter expert. Maybe if we can get the car to hook off the brake it will bring better results!

Looking good Matt!!! All of us at Vengeance have really enjoyed working with you and your father. Its awesome to see the combo come together!!!

As said above there is room to improve with that 60ft... If you happen to get any datalogs of any of your runs send them over and we will take a look at them for you.

Thanks man, we are just going to have fun with this setup and see what we can get out of it, not sure when he will decide to move up on things like intake, heads, cam etc.
