Sent a letter to ruling board asking for permission to run the 4-link and would except a weight adder but they said no before the LSX shootout. Im not pissed just decided to add the liberty. Funny thing as the weight is added to the fast cars they could not run the low times as has been posted for records. The mid 8 second cars seem to get slower when the round elms. start and you have to cross the scales. But as i stated before the 4-link does not add any more horsepower to the car but as I have proven the liberty has.
I ran the auto for two years to see how fast it would go and 8.70's was the best and got tired of wasting time on it. If all the so called fast cars run liberys why not become one of the fasted liberty cars you can.
Have just been trying to build the fasted stock bore LS1 car in the country thats all. Im not a speed shop just an old man who likes to build things that go fast.

I have to ask you this...
I have you listed with 427 cu.in. on the N/A list... Is that correct?
If so, I don't know what you're referring to as stock bore LS1
BTW. I hear you on the old man thing, I'm there also...

Im running a C5R 427 with C5R heads. Some have larger bore motors thats all. Thanks for the compliments just pushing the envolope as for as I can before I start on a new project. That has always been the goal with this small block NA full body car.
