We put up a few 10 second passes that day. A couple were in the 126+ range. I believe we were around 3300lbs. We hit our goal and then we moved on.

Nice, you guys got quite a few 6.9s in the 1/8th too, that's been the one barrier I have yet to crack (hit a 7.02 twice). I've gone into the 99+mph range a few times so I know it can do it.
That might be my goal this year, a 6.99 (or better) in the 1/8th with my bolt ons only LS2.

Here's my slip. If I can get my 60' and 1/8 down I think I can get there. Car is almost 70lbs lighter now and 10 of that is rotating. I should be at about 3200 race weight, car still has ac,cruise, all interior and bumper supports. Not gutted just stratigically lightened. The fast 90 also picked up 13rwhp and 10rwtq. Those should get me .2 and 2mph if the day is comparible. I have also done some aero mods that should help a little.

Got smudged.....I guess I over reacted
11.17 @ 124.6 my best mph has been 124.79

Ya think it could be that much?
I know you'll get at least a .1 reduction and 1mph from it.

Yeah, we never lightened the car except for the dragpack. We could have ported the TB, put on a FAST 90, and do a few more tricks, but it was not necessary. Perhaps, Rob and I should build another one. I can see the potential for dropping the ET a few tenths and picking up a couple mph.
Oh, back to the topic. I think first we'll hit our goal with the C6Z first.

Thanks. I ported the fast myself. I say .2 not just from the fast but also the weight reduction of 10lb was rotating. For every 1lb rotating @ wheel speed is comparible to 3lb dead weight. If you add the rotaing and dead weight off the car that's equal to almost 100lb. Should be .1 for the fast and .1 for the weight.

You need more gear to get that car moving. What tire are you running now with the 3.90 gear and what is your shift rpm and rpm through the traps?

Running a 275/50-15(25.7) nitto 555r. Shifts should between 66-6800, The tach stops moving @6400 and it's probally goin threw the traps @ 65-6600. Has run a best mph of 126.8 other than the other week when it went 129-130.xx 9 times. That my have been a fluke...but it fluked all day.

I think I need a better rear to get it moving, I broke 2 10 bolt axles this year.

I don't believe you will get much better on your 60ft on those nittos. 1.7's is about all your gonna get consistently out of those with a stick car. M/T would probably be better and I would go with 275/60-15. You need the taller sidewall especially with a stick car. The right clutch will make a big difference also. You want one the slips some to help keep from bogging or hitting the tires to hard. 4.30-4.56 gears would probably be ideal. Good luck.

I can't use any more gear at this tire height. I made the change from 4.11(maxxed out @ 122 @ 6800) to 3.90 to stay of the limiter as it is. I prefer not to use a taller tire either as this would change my street(18x9.5's) vs track set-up (bogarts drags) to much. I like for the car to run on the street basically what it runs at the track. I know how to pile gear and tire in it to make it a drag car to get time out if it....but that's just not what the car is. But thanks.

I am a little confused. Do you run street wheels at the track , bogart drag wheels, or do you run the bogarts all the time ? If you don't want to put gear in it then you should at least try a better drag radial than the nittos.

I run both on the street and I will occasionally run the 18's at the track. I have only had the Bogarts for a year. I would like to have a better dr than the nitto's. But as of now the nitto's were good enough to break 2 axles. So really I need a better rear first.
