Congrats to Gary for a 10.13 @ 137.75 in a C6Z06.
Just because I know someone's going to ask.
There's no headwork, no aftermarket cam, and no spray.

With a bolt-on supercharger? You sure the timing equipment is working properly at the track? I've seen plenty of Heads/Cam C6 Z06's that didn't come within a second and 5 mph of those numbers.

I have seen bone stock C6 Z06 trap 128 before in the south and we don't have great air down here. Headers, exhaust, cai , electric wp, underdrive pulley, more gear, tune , some weight reduction, suspension mods and good air it is definitely possible. Most people overlook the small details and just throw $$ at a car and expect it to be fast.

It has all the typical bolt ons and typical weight removal for a street car that we drag race.(ie. removing passenger seat, etc). Gary is 260lbs which doesn't help! I'll post a link fro the other forum.

Also, the driver has alot of experience and holds several corvette records with a c5z and c6z.

That is awesome, i can believe it. Removing weight helps out alot, seems like you guys got it figured out. What was the da?
Edit: I figure if he takes the exhaust system off that should get him pretty close to running a 9 second pass.

I don't know the exact da but would guess it was around +500 to +800.
The best air was the early hours. The best pass was at 4:20 pm which is often case, when you figure out the track. I won't be surprised if this car flirts with 140mph assuming we get a killer air day to run in.

For example, my the best pass I ever made at LVD in cool weather was 11.7 @ 117, and often trapped 116 in warmer weather. I then took it to an Atco rental in the late Fall with nice cold air and went consistent 11.4's @ 121 all day long in a negative DA. My brothers and I have seen similar results going to Etown, as well, although Atco seems to be the place for record passes if you can get there in good weather.
The DA there is just consistently stellar compared to other tracks in the country, so it's hard to watch other people try to compare various setups and drivers at different tracks around the country and say "Well this other Z with similar mods or more mods didn't go that fast, so what's the deal?" The deal is a strong setup, a great driver, and good weather at a consistently fast track.
Again, OP, great job with this car. Those are some awesome numbers. Big time props to you guys and the driver for showing what a car like this can do.
