Just went to the track Sunday and got a new best time of [email protected]
with a 1.71 60'. My first 4 runs were on a 28/9-15 MT slick, the last 3 were on my Nitto 555r drag radials, 245/50/16. My 60' was faster with the DRs oddly enough, but maybe I just wasnt heating the slicks up enough. The car is on stock springs, bilstein shocks, tubular upper and boxed lower rear arms. That's it for suspension mods. Last time I weighed the car it was 3450 with me inside, I think I shaved around 50 lbs since then.
Basically my question is will adding a set of drag shocks up front and either a helper bag or anti roll bar in the rear going to drastically help. I plan on getting some drag wheels but I'm not sure whether to put a radial or a slick on it. The front wheels are pretty heavy almost 40lbs, and it was very close to lifting.
