New Best 9.45 @ 146, 6 speed street clutch and drove home - Video inside Ventured out to Cecil county Maryland for last shot at greatness.. Just replaced 13 year old Nitrous solenoid that I suspected had been restricting due to swollen seals. Turns out it was..
First pass out at 9:30am Total wheel spin, letting off in first and almost losing in 4th near big end ran 9.71 @ 146
Got a warning for not having all correct gear - and was told to keep it in the 10s..
Well next pass after some heat in track it hooked decent with a 1.39 - I had to stay in it at that point to get my new best of 9.45 @ 146..
Was able to coax him into letting me run again being he was not fully aware of the rules..
Spun pretty bad pulling a 1.47 60ft and ran the 9.50 @ 146 for video - Nedless to say they were having no more of me and sent me on my way..
Some good represntation of my shifting as well..
So on way home obtained a horrible shake, look in mirror to see trailer wheel ready to fly off.. Broke all studs I am assuming loose lugs maybe the cause.. Had to remove car and drive the remaining 60 miles or so home on my new slicks.....
