Ive heard from several guy that have done it before to have PTC re-stall my vigilante 3200. They say the vig is a good converter and they hold up well, but you give up some et and mph compared to say a yank etc. My buddy got PTC to re stall his to 4K and his car, similar setup to yours gtospd went low low 11's.

What spec if you dont mind sharing? Geoff spec'd my cam as well, its a .600 230/234 112lsa. I just wanted a solid 11 sec daily driver.

I just looked at the cam card.....218/234 .595/.601 on a 117 lsa. Very mild idle at 650-700 rpm. Like I said its a version of the cheater cam that he spec'd out for me when I was running stock exhaust. Very smooth......went from 339-364 on the dyno back in 2009 when it was put in.....kinda thought I was gonna pick up more than 25hp but I can't complain since the car runs so well.

Those specs are very close to the GT-11 cam specs that I'm running.

Also very similar to the 218/226 .60x 117 lsa I have for myself that I'm about to have cut.

Talk about "baby" cams, I'm not 100% sure on my specs (ie no cam card) but was told it was 226/226 .557/.557 114. Was also told by a friend of the original owner that it was a Lunati T1 cam, anyway its an antique by todays standards!! I know it was installed over 10 yrs. ago,and still goin' strong. Been wanting to go to a max-effort cam but budget is not cooperating!!

I know the feeling. Mine is a GT11 cam 215/231 .631/.644 118 LSA, idle isn't stock, but definitely not too noticeable. I'd love to step it up a little to something like you have. What kind of power does your cam make? Whats the curve look like?

No idea on the HP, seriously!! Only on the dyno 1 time at a dyno-day and it kept down shifting, so they dynoed it running through the gears. Don't know if this accurate but it was embarrassing!! Your cam has plenty of lift but duration seems odd and lsa is high. Alot of good cams out there plus the custom grinds, just have to match it to your set-up! I think you would benefit from a higher stall and possibly lower gears. JMO Larry.

Shift points set at 6400 rpms, with the 4.10's it crossed the FL at 6400, now with the 3.73's it crosses the FL at 6000. Should have it retuned and maybe lower shift points to 6200-6300. I like to run it in good air before I make any changes though!!
