Tried a few things including ditching the front sway bar, but I can't seem to do better than 11.6-11.7s at 115-116. Car is pretty consistent, but other than one 1.67 60', it wants to pull 1.71-1.72 60s. Here are a few vids from today. I'm not complaining since its a fairly mild set-up, just wish I could get it into the 11.2-11.4 range full weight. I'm flashing the stall, not foot braking it. Tried stalling it up with the brake, but it didn't help or hurt.

Well i'll tell ya Greddy deserves it man lol! A ported/pullied Cobra PLUS weight reduction...he should spank us lol.
I'm gonna do the nitrous in the spring, and probably hit it with a 125-150 shot. Too many other damn things I wanna do right now lol
How's your ride doing these days? Obviously it's running some impressive times lol

She's running good, no complaints. Had to do some SFC's to stiffen it up some due to t-top rattles, etc. Also had the tune touched up again so it would quit dying on me everytime I reved, and also had to have the transmission tune touched up to shift right with the new stall, but now its running like it should. Def no complaints, just always want a little more, lol. You know how it is.
Can't wait to see what yours does on the spray. That car is already nasty to run with Greddy the way you did!
Appreciate it Tiger! I'm happy with the car for sure. With the cut-out closed it runs/sounds close to stock.

i think you should try paying more attention to how youre staging, bumping in the bottom bulb as shallow as possible just barely turning it on. Its not going to help much but every little bit counts. I stage the exact same every pass.
And that 60' time is still pretty good with such little stall, you could always move up to a yank, ptc, or fti 3800-4000 and go 1.50's

I'm thinking about going back to a 3.73 gear. My last set was chewed up from being set up wrong (thanks RPM/Garner), so I threw in these 3.42s thinking it wouldnt make much difference. It did, lol. Just hate to mess with the 10 bolt anymore. Trying to just save for a 12 bolt with either 3.73s or 4.10s.

I've actually been trying to pay more attention to staging. On the 11.6 pass thats exactly what I did. It helps for sure.

You should be able to hit 12.20s. I lucked up and ran 12.22 at 114 with full exhaust, 3.73s, lid, tune, and street tires (along with FRA, etc). That happened in some damn near perfect DA, but still...it can be done. 3.73s make a huge difference in our cars. You should see at least 3 tenths over those 2.73s as long as you pull a decent high 1.9 60' or so.

Just going by the mods in your sig, I'd say you'd benefit huge from a much higher converter. A 2800 is barely noticeable. A good 4000rpm converter will still drive around nicely and get your car out of the hole much better.

I wouldn't say its barely noticeable, lol. I talked to my tuner about more stall, but after looking at everything we decided much bigger would be too much stall with my cam, etc. A 4k would blow past a lot of useable power. A lot of people don't understand this and think the more stall the better. I love a big stall, but have experienced in the past what too much stall will do for ya. I would like to take it on up to a 3200 since I'm currently leaving as hard as it'll let me and still hooking.

You should search for "dadsz28" on here who has a very similar setup to yours and runs 11.50's @ 117 with a vigilante 3200 stall

Hey great runs Gtospd. I think a step up in converter might help ya with those 60 fts. I have gone 1.55s with skinnies though and mid 1.6s with reg weight stock tires and rims. That was with a vig 3200 that has worked great for 5 yrs.
I just had it restalled to 3600 and have to try it this weekend to see if I pick up any. We have similar set-ups and I have been a best of 11.45 with skinnies in really good da so I would say you are close to my time.
I really think stepping up to a 3200-3600 with some skinnies on a cool night you would be in the 11.30-11.40s. Good luck and let me know how you do in the future.
