Mods made me slower

Mods made me slower So I added a UDP SSRA Tourque arm and New NT05r 275 instead of my old 555r that where beat. and I also changed my exhaust from a True Duel Dump setup to a 3 inch y with a home made merge and a spiral bullet muffler. my ET dropped.2 and my trap Speed Dropped 2 mph. I am a bolt on only car. What would cause my times to get worse. My 60's where about the same and I was not spinning at all . The car felt like it was pulling harder out of the hole to.

Well going from Duals to a Y you're going to lose a little power. But the other mods should have offset that and helped you gain ET and mph. Either the car isn't running properly (maintenance or some other issue) or the DA was a lot worse than the last time than you ran.

Yes the taller diameter tire will effectively lower the gearing a little, and could be the culprit, but you basically changed most of the exhaust and did a ram air setup to boot. Not saying that is it for sure, but you have definitely altered the air coming in and going out. Know what I mean?
