Gotya.
We went 9.79 and had to shut down early.
Looks like some more work to do.

Though, I think the list is flawed since Mustangs and NON stock cube F-bodies and Vettes are allowed to be on it. It also hasn't been updated in over a year.

Looking at your sig your talking a turbod car with stock bottom end? If so i think the power adder stock bottom record is a nitrous camaro that did 8.8 or 8.9 something. Texas Speeds is the N/A record

No that's my buddy's car and sig. I have a stock bottom end 346.
Looks like the Texas speed car went 9.66 with a solid roller cam sbe.

We went a little quicker yesterday but had to hit the brakes per the track officials.
9.75@125.
I guess we are not meant to have this record. lol
The last 2 times out we had to lift for different reasons.
The heads come off tomorrow so maybe some other time.

I thought forged internals (346-347ci) were accepted, unless there's a stroker crank and bigger cubes all together in their car.

I can you you that we are restricted by the stock rods, wrist pins, and pistons.
My cam makes peak power somewhere above 7350 rpms and I'm not willing to shift @ 7500 or go thru the traps above 7600 where I should at least be.

With aftermarket rods and pistons I would probably be close to 8000 and run much quicker/faster judging by my power curve.

Then there's the whole compression deal.
We are under 12:1.

But it doesn't matter so much what other people have. I focus on my car and try and hit goals. I thought that TSP car was comparable to mine so it may be a goal for me in the future.

Pretty sure TSP has rod bolts and flycut pistons but I think that is it? That was a while ago I read that but still technically stock bottom end...

Stock bottom end = didn't open it up and do anything to it.

If you change the bearings and rings it's not SBE.

if it has new pistons or any rotating assembly, even stock, it's not stock bottom end.

That's how the list was played.

TSP car the red one is not stock bottom end but it's stock cubes. And a bad piece.

^ That's what I always thought. I never understood people upgrading rod bolts and then trying to claim stock bottom end.

I'm sure there will be some varying opinions and people will do things to their cars to protect their investment and provide added safety to their runs.
I imagine it's not too fun to drive thru your own oil at 140mph.
I need something to shoot for SBE so the 9.66 will have to do. lol

If someone doesn't want to risk running the car with the bottom end stock for whatever reason, I don't see an issue with it. I just find it funny that definitions get tweaked and twisted over time.

I misunderstood Vetteboy2k's posting "SBE". I thought he meant small block engine.

Any ls stock bottom end or not running those times is impressive. That's why I love these motors.
