Talking Na sbe h/c/i 10.41@127 1.35 60'!

Some of you may have noticed I had put my car up for sale a couple months ago...while the car ran extremely well, I was just kind of getting bored with the NA setup (couldn't really go much faster naturally aspirated without spending A LOT more money). I got a few offers fairly close to what I wanted to get for the car, but I promised myself that if it didn't quickly sell for the number I wanted for it that I would just part the car out and do something different.

Quick rundown of the old setup...it was fairly basic but made quite a bit of power:

- BONE STOCK bottom end LS1 with 90k miles
- TFS 220 heads (as cast) lightly ported by TEA
- FAST 102
- custom cam
- E85 tune
- built 4L60 with SS4000
- 12 bolt with 4.10 gears, spool
- full bolt ons including TSP 1 7/8" headers
- custom 4" track only lid with chrs1313 ram air

Made 485 rwhp

Quickest pass:

Car had a little more left it in it. It had trapped as high as 128.5 so it would have done 10.3 easily maybe even 10.2...not bad for some stock junk! Car weighed somewhere around 3350.

Track video...

Boost coming soon!

Congrats!

You definitely had the short times covered. A lot of high 9 second cars only turn a 330' in the 4-teens.

Yes all the time...round trip to the track, car shows all over the area, and just for fun. It has never seen a trailer

That's the way these cars are meant to be. Your tune must be spot on. What compression is this setup and did you have to flycut?

Yes I had to flycut. Compression was around 11.9:1

I'd say you optimized your NA setup. This makes me want to pull my heads, go with a bigger cam, flycut, mill the heads even more and shoot for 12:1 compression. Might do that when I get the new MSD Atomic intake.

Simply badass, 10.4 in a SBE LS1 and trapping what you did through an auto is awesome.
