Default offically the fastest n/a record

well Tom Kempf and Matt Brancroft went to St. thomas for a little test and tune. They stepped up the program a little and here are the results.

1.31 60 ft
5.9 1/8 mile
116.5 mph
9.34 1/4 mile
144.68 mph
Track was decent. 1st pass was a 1.29 60ft. over all just a good day. looks like it's time for some people to step up their program!!!

well here's an update. just talked to Tom Kempf. looks like Matt wanted to step it up even further. moved to rev limiter up a 100 rpm so now it's 7500 rpm going through the traps and here it is boys-
1.35 60ft
9.29 1/4 mile
146.5 mph
I was told that he spun very badly as can be seen by the horrible 60 ft. time.I see a teen coming before the end of the year. com'on thunder let him race!! I will post any more results as I get them.

Matt Bancroft and Kevin Patterson did it themselves. I'm not sure who did any of Matt's body work though.

Congrats Matt, that's awesome.

Thanks everybody, it was a great day at the track, couldn't have asked for any better weather. high 60's and not much humidity. The car just seems to pickup everytime down the track. It is starting to 60 ft a little better and everytime we raise the shift rpm it picks up mph and et. We are shifting at 7200 currently and I think with a couple hundred more rpm it should go even faster.

My friend Kevin and I built the entire car on the ground at his house. We assembled the motor ourselves as well. Kevin really seems to know his **** and I wouldn't put my motor in the hands of anyone else. We will post some pics soon and show off the custom work involved in the car and the trans mock up. Looks like all our late nights in the garage are starting to pay off. If anyone is interested in a similar set up pm me and we would be glad to help you out.

Matt
