Default 1/4 mph relation to rwhp? 60' relation to ET?

Is there a rule of thumb for mph and rwhp? How about for difference in 60' to change in ET?

Last Oct. I ran a 13.33 @ 107 at Island Dragway in NJ. This was with a 2.13 60' time. It seems to me with the mph and with better traction I could see high 12s.

Either way, I'm headed back there on April 1st to rip through some gears.

fwiw:

`02 Z28 with only (known) mod being crappy flowmaster muffler. Unless you consider a dirty paper filter a mod...

There are some calculators that you find online for mph to hp conversions/estimations, not sure how accurate they are though. Just search on google and I'm sure you'll find tons of them.

As for the 60', it's about 2 tenths off the ET for every 1 tenth off the 60ft. So, if you could get a 1.9 60ft, that'd take off near 4 tenths, getting you into the 12's.

Muerte is right. On average 1/10 60ft = close to 2/10 in the 1/4.

A stall converter would get you in the 12s easily if you are an A4.

Good air, a cut out, better traction will also get you there.

Good luck!!

A stall isn't an option, as I have the M6. I also have 3.42 gears. Is it just me or does third gear run out right before the end of the 1/4? Thanks for the input!

i ran a 8.833@85 with a 2.219 60' time in a bone stock car, i had a mustang gt with drag radial and ran a 8.50@80 with a 1.80 60' time, so if i put my drag radials on my trans am i would run about a 7.90?

So you ran a 12.90 with a 102 trap speed, theres that 60' time again. What suspension and tires you runnin? My 60' is 1.95 w/13.066 @106 sorry but this is important to me , doing research. Trying to get a 12 sec timeslip before I die
