Raced NHRA pro Morgan Lucas... and won I am re-posting this for unit, he shut down my thread because it was in Street racing/ kill stories so I'm pasting it here. My brother and I have part time jobs at a Sonic and we got this invitation from a Coca Cola executive for two people from our store to go to Gateway Int'l Raceway(St. Louis) to drag race some new Pontiac G6's, and Bonnevilles V8's. It was set up as bracket races and after I won the finals I got to drag race Morgan Lucas who drives the Top Fuel Car for Lucas Oil in an 05 G6. So we line up and I pulled a .278 reaction time to his .477 (I have the timeslip) and I held him off for the rest of the race. Luckily for me I found the TCS buttons and turned that **** off. It was cool cuz we got to talk to Morgan and hang out a little bit. He personally autographed this poster for me saying "Thanx 4 the asskickin" and signed his name. It was sweet, I'm gonna try to post timeslips and other pics ASAP. For beating Morgan we got 2 trackside passes to Friday night's events NHRA events in St. Louis, so this was all pretty sweet if you ask me.

The G6's were running low 16's for the most part, but mine sucked and ran a little bit slower. I had to cut the whole picture of the poster he autographed for me but you can still read it.

They should run eliminations rounds under the lights more often, seeing the nitro flames off the headers just adds to the intensity of the racing.
