D,

You got a shot of your car in this month's Fastest Street Car mag. Congrats.

Thanks Eric! I just got my copy today, and is a decent wheels-up shot I thought. I still have a ways to go before I get to a wheelie of your caliber, but I'm thinking of adding a few more decals before the South Georgia race and maybe I'll get more airtime!

Definitely a good shot of your car. Just throw some elephant in the trunk, that's how I do it

any for rent in Florida?? I once had 300 lbs of weight in the car to slow it down for 12.00 b/c of no roll bar. Believe me, it looked bad! Almost like a low rider....

BTW- you planning on running the PRO-series at all this year?? I'm likely heading to the South Georgia race in September

I did have plans on making an event or two but everything was a conflict with the Tech series or the local No Bull heads up racing.

Was 4th in points until I missed a race for the tech series. Dropped to 6th and will miss 1 or 2 more races.

Hey, missing a few races for extra wheelies on the Tech series is acceptable

I don't want to disappoint David, but it's nowhere NEAR your's/Eric's kind of wheelie

Well, that's one thing, but remember back in late 2003 I was without motor for 5 weeks due to broken crank and block missing a chunk! I understand how ya feel! How's the new bullet coming along?

Derek. Bought a used "good" shortblock. Turned a bearing after 5 passes - 3 engine and 2 nitrous passes. Just never felt right. Even though it ran a 10.3 at 132+mph with 5300+ DA (track temp was 149 degrees), it was crap. It's to damn bad I had to brake my good stock shortblock, it had 9's easy in it. With 1300+ passes (600+ nitrous) passes and the bottom end looked like new. Back to the drawing board. I'm most likely done with stock bottomend. Hope to have it back together by the end of August.

David
