Default F11 Track Results

I just got back from the track. See sig for results.

I'm a little disappointed with the results. I was hoping for 12.50s, even with my crappy 60 foot times.

Just wait 'til cooler weather. With that kind of power on tap, you'll be flying!

I went to Norwalk.

I'm reluctant to use better tires, because I'm afraid that I may break my rear end. I figure a 1.95 60 foot is very obtainable with my setup and street tires. If I could get a 1.95 60 foot I figure I would be in the 12.40s to 12.50s and I would be happy with that. In addition, I think you guys are right, my times should improve with cooler weather. I guess I'll have to wait until the fall to see how the car does.

Thanks for the comments,

Jim

398 rwhp and his mph was 112? Doesn't anyone else think that's odd? I just had my car done and wound up with 382rw and I'll be damn pissed if my car doesn't mph 115.

I have the stock gears (3.42:1).

To view the dyno tune see the following thread (this is a very large file and will take several minutes to down load with a cable modem):

http://thot.us/ws6-dyno.wmv

To get a little more background information and to view the dyno sheet see the following thread:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/359934-f11-dyno-results-what-do-you-think.html

So what do you guys think my trap speed should be? I thought 112 mph seemed reasonable, but I didn't have anything to compare it to.

Thanks,

Jim

A 12.7 with 398rwhp...yeah, that sounds like a bad case of everything-gone-wrong. Lower the tire pressure, wait for nice weather, and knock on the 12s door.

What LSA did you choose when you ordered the cam? How is the F11 on the street? How does it sound?

I love my F11 on a 112 it's great on the street. But it's street manners are equal to an F13 IMHO, I have a few buddies with F13's & you can't really tell any difference with my F11 & their F13's, even our trap speeds are pretty equal.

I have no clue. I don't even know what that means.

It's on a 112, the street manners are great, and it sounds great.

See the links I posted earlier in this thread for the dyno video and more information.

I know I'm not the best driver, but I find it hard to believe that my driving is costing me 6 mph. I'm not doubting your opinion, I just find it hard to believe that a better hole shot with quicker and more strategically placed shifting will yield a 6 mph improvement. (FYI - I was shifting around 6300 rpm).

I guess I don't mind the et and mph as long as I know the car is running good and the poor et and mph is because of the driver. At least with practice the car should go faster.

Thanks,

Jim

p.s. - I think my friend video taped one of my runs. If he did I'll try and post the video.

Just keep at bro and you will get a better time and also if you want a less sticker tire you should try nitto's.
