Default Went to Englishtown yesterday...

I was really trying for my first 11 second pass, but I ended up with a new best of a 12.081 @ 115.95mph. 1.81 60', 7.82 1/8 mile @ 91mph. My previous best was last sunday at Lebanon (12.11).

I got 3 other runs, but the car wouldn't hook up for crap other than the one good run. I was talking to other people and they were saying the same thing. It's weird because Englishtown usually has good prep and it definitely wasn't even cool out. Also, I only got 4 of the 6 passes I was supposed to get so I may have run my 11 if I got the other 2 runs.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until september to try again.

The mph indicates the 11s are there for the taking. Obviously you know the problem is hooking. Good luck getting her into the 11s shortly!

God damn 11's are owning you man. Probably the same thing that's gonna happen to me.. 11.0xx every god damn run once I get my junk back to together... not long now, motor was going together nicely when I stopped down @ the shop saturday

We'll have to make a trip in september sometime, LVD owes you an 11 second pass, and when we go I'm hoping to leave that day not having the track owe me a 10

LOL, yeah, it's definitely turning out to be alot harder than I thought it'd be. That will just make it even better once I do get it though!

Definitely get your car together soon and we'll get a group together and head up to Lebanon!

Car should be going to the shop I'd guess sometime towards the end of next week I'm gonna say they'll probably have it for a week or so, then I shoudl have it back. GOtta get a few miles on it, get used to the shifter and the way that works, as soon as I'm used to it I'm gonna try to go, I think Sean's gonna try to get Ken to let us use the 2 car trailer and take his car and mine to a track, I'm hoping that we can find a rental somewhere, as I gotta figure out where to set the shocks, what the car likes best for launch off the footbrake, and I want to try putting the gas to the floor and launch it off the transbrake

Just hope I can get a bunch of first and 2nd gear pulls in, get the suspension figured out, and once the car's in the low 1/5 or high 1/4x 60 foot area, make a full pass and hope to see a 10.xx Maybe if I'm luck, I'll get to make 2 before they tell me to leave for no roll bar.. if I have to sit all winter and at least have that 10.xx under my belt I will feel good, and won't mind doing teh cage and other stuff, but if I don't get it, then it's gonna urk the hell out of me all winter.. and the DP kit will be going strait on, so I know the next time I run it I won't have to wonder if it's gonna run 10's.. I'll have to wonder if it's gonna run 9's

Sounds awesome! Definitely a good idea to get a few 1/8 mile pass or less until you get that 60' down. Let me know, I'm gonna definitely want to be there for that!

soon... hopefully soon. I ordered a set of hoosier 27x11.5 qtp's, they should be at my work today, so I got to get tehm mounted up, probably call ted, as he knows how to deal with flimsey drag rims, not gonna screw then yet, as I don't want to have a set of leaky *** tires as the screws will undoubtedly create.

I'm hoping the first or 2nd weekend in september, try my luck wherever sean feels lke going, I'm hoping it's not E-town, I think we'll both get kicked out of there for going too fast, and definately be too loud for their noise rules.

It was def a good time, as for JL, LVD is probably the best bet since tech is more lax then atco or e-town.

When I get my LS1, I already got the BMR and 12 bolt goin in with the 3" steel DS. Aside from a 4.10 gear and slicks, I can fly off the limiter and see what I can get bone *** stock motor.

get a set of frame connectors in before you do that.. your chassis will appreciate it !

I'll have the 4.10's otu of mine next year, those will also be up for grabs if you want to lay claim to them.. they have the standard moser gear whine, you've already heard that though.

Call me tonite after 9, I'll be home. If you want them this weekend, maybe you can stop up at my house on sunday or somethign as we can take a ride to my parents to get them, and I can deliver them to your house.... as long as you don't mind filling up the truck's gas tank

There's spots open for a track rental at Atco sept.11th- You would have from 9-4 to get that 11 sec pass. Get that car to hook and 11's are in the bag with that mph

Personally I"d love to go to that, but there's no way I'm driving all teh way there, I'd have to find another guy to go with, and see if we coudl get ken to let us use teh truck.trailer that day... so I doubt that I coudl get it all to come together.

Plus, atco is a little on the strict side with tech, and I dunno if the car would get thru. I guess I coudl tell them it runs 12.4 or something, but I have a feeling that they would probably know better then that.
